Comparison of researches into publisher attitudes towards e-books in pre-Covid and Covid times

Summary: The article presents the findings of the research into publisher attitudes to e-books, organized by the Institute of Communication Studies and Journalism and the Center for Media Studies at the Faculty of Social Sciences, Charles University. The research compares the behavior and preferences of Czech publishers towards e-books publishing in the period before Covid (at the beginning of 2020) and at the time of the peak pandemic situation in autumn 2020 and monitors changes in the publishers‘ attitudes to e-books, their views on them and the future of the book market, as well as their cooperation with libraries.
